The motivation behind Eve.
People want to help.
The issues facing us, from all directions, are large and systemic. My colleagues and friends keep coming back to the same questions. “How can I help? How do I affect change? How can I make a dent?”
The only option these well-intentioned, driven people are being offered is to make financial contributions. To pay someone else who promises to solve the problem.
This is disheartening because people are worth more than just their money. People are designers, writers, marketers, community organizers, business owners, and have countless other skill sets they can contribute.
Eve provides one way.
Eve answers this call for direct involvement. Eve empowers individuals to bring shared electric vehicles to their neighborhoods. And it’s an opportunity for my colleagues and me to provide tools for others to lead the effort in their neighborhood.
Eve allows people to sell their cars, pocket the cash, and pay for only what they use.
The shared EV’s are parked at dedicated parking spots with a charger.
The vehicles are owned and serviced by members of the community, keeping that money in that community.
The cars are managed, maintained, and insured by Eve.
This improves the local economy, reduces unhealthy vehicle emissions, and helps reduce the impact on the environment.
