Eve’s first charging partner is tentatively secured and site inspection is completed.

First, a big THANK YOU for the quick response to my ‘ask’ in the last update. We have been able to connect with several potential charging partners. One is now tentatively confirmed for our launch, and several new opportunities have been brought to our attention.

I met an electrician (who works with our tentative charging partner) and the facilities director for Beam Development at Eastside Exchange to assess the on-site needs.

Proposed Eve parking and charging spots

We reviewed the Eastside Exchange’s power supply, identified potential parking spots, and used those spots as the basis for the installation cost estimate.

Remaining steps to launch Eve

  1. Review the inspection and installation estimate.

  2. If it looks good, then we agree on terms.

  3. Confirm and validate a vehicle to pair with the charger.

  4. Install the charger.

  5. Brand parking spot.

  6. Launch!

ASK!

As we get closer to launch we are starting to look for our next locations and partners who want to help bring them to life.

Do you know anyone who:

Is passionate about EVs?

Is interested in car share?

Is driven to fight climate change?

Is working to improve the health of their community?

Or is dedicated to helping their community recover financially?

If so, I want to meet them! This platform can be a tool for change but it needs to be sculpted through feedback and engagement with those that would wield it.
